The EHO (Environmental Health Officers) have stated that the previously considered appropriate contact time of 5 minutes is no longer good enough to meet the standard requirements. In fact, the EHO are now recommending a maximum contact time of 1 minute! Vileda
DCS supply a range of Vileda mopping systems that are designed to ensure infection outbreaks are avoided. All Vileda systems can be colour coded so that cross contamination is avoided further due to different colours allocated to different areas.
Vileda Swispo Disposable Mopping System
The Vileda Swispo disposable microfiber mopping system is fantastic for use in many areas including operating theatres and other hygiene critical areas. It is great when used as a wet mop but also works just as well when used dry for dust control. Due to these mop pads being disposable all your concerns over surviving bacteria after washing can be forgotten, used mop pads can easily be disposed of and replaced with a completely clean and germ free one.
Vileda Ultra-Speed Mini Mopping System
The ultra-speed mini is ideal for infection control because even though it is small in size, it is big in performance. This compact system is designed to clean smaller areas but provides great hygiene benefits. The ultra-speed mini range consists of mop buckets, mop pads, mop head fittings and handles (telescopic or fixed). All products in this range can be colour coded to avoid infection outbreaks and the telescopic handle is particularly great at cleaning those hard to reach places, even dusting the top corners of walls. This flat mopping system can be used dry for dust control prior to wet mopping to provide the best cleaning and sanitising results. All products in the ultra-speed mini system are simple and easy to clean, with the mini mop pads lasting up to 50 washes!

This Vileda range consists of mop buckets, frames, handles and various mop pads for different applications. This system is low in cost, light weight, fast and effective to use. The unique press on this system wrings out more water than normal mopping systems to ensure that floors dry quicker and are back in use much sooner. The ultra-speed range can be used to clean floors, skirting boards, walls, staircases and ceilings.
